BrightBuilt Retrofit (BBR), a collaboration among US Green Building Council, Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, Green Building Advisor, and BuildingGreen, LLC, announces an energy conservation initiative open to non-profit organizations (NPOs) in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont that want to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of their buildings.

BBR will demonstrate the affordability and accessibility of deep energy retrofits in colder climates. The project will be innovative, sustainable, community enhancing, affordable/replicable, educational/open source, highly visible and beautiful.
